Chris Jones – Co-Founder
Chris didn't set out to be a business strategist. He set out to be a present dad.
In 2008, with his first child on the way, he was the youngest Business Manager in the UK, excelling in automotive sales and mentoring colleagues. But 70-hour weeks left no time for family. So he changed course.
Over the next 20 years he supported hundreds of SMEs at Shropshire Chamber and later turned around a manufacturing firm as General Manager with full P&L responsibility. He saw a clear pattern. Owners worked harder than ever yet lacked the tools and support to think strategically. They were the business instead of running it.
Today, as Co-Founder of MAFIC, Chris uses The Core Diagnostic to reveal cash, time and talent opportunities across six areas of any SME. His aim is simple. Help 1,000 owners reclaim time, profit and freedom. Because success is not more hours. It is the freedom to choose.

With over 25 years of experience, Gavin brings a practical, no-fluff approach to business growth. Chris Jones and Gavin Belton-Rose were having the same conversation with different clients. Again. "My accountant doesn't talk to my broker. My broker doesn't know what my systems consultant is doing. And none of them understand what I'm actually trying to build here." Sound familiar? After years of running their own advisory practices, Chris and Gavin kept seeing the same problem: brilliant businesses held back by brilliant advisers who simply weren't joined up. That's when the idea for MAFIC crystallised.
